“I Haven’t Had This Feeling in Quite Some Time”: Schwartz Introduces New Crush Kiana & Fans Are Already Shipping It

In The Valley Season 3 Episode 6, Tom Schwartz finally let his guard down and introduced his new crush to the group — and it’s giving major “this could be different” energy.

At a sunny brunch at TomTom, Schwartz brought model Kiana Carroll to meet Zack, Brittany, Janet, and Jason. In his confessional, the Vanderpump Rules alum gushed that he met the “devastatingly beautiful” 27-year-old at Schwartz & Sandy’s.

What started platonic quickly turned serious: “It just kind of went, like, exponential.” He called her a “baller” who splits time between New York and L.A., and you could see the genuine excitement on his face. For once, Schwartz looked hopeful instead of anxious.

This feels like a turning point. Just a few episodes ago in Episode 5, Schwartz was openly scared about getting too serious with someone new, admitting he’s terrified of repeating past heartbreak.

That vulnerability came after his flirty but ultimately friend-zoned connection with Michelle. In Episode 4’s singles night at The Belmont, Michelle called him an “innocent cute puppy” she might kiss but would never date, even trying to set him up with her friend Natalie.

Go back further to Episode 2, and you’ll remember the emotional salt-cave sound bath where Schwartz and Michelle bonded deeply over family pain and grief. While that moment was sweet, it highlighted how Schwartz was still processing his divorce and searching for something real. Now, with Kiana, he seems lighter — cautiously optimistic but clearly smitten.

Schwartz has spent years on Bravo as the lovable, chaotic golden retriever of the group. After his long marriage to Katie and the messy post-divorce era, seeing him this excited about someone who matches his energy is refreshing. Kiana came across as confident, funny, and outgoing during the brunch — exactly the kind of match fans have been hoping for.

Of course, it’s early. But for the first time in a while, Schwartz looks like he’s letting himself believe in love again.
