Lindsay Goes Off on Kyle About DJ Career & “Not Wanting a Family” at Lost Supper
Lindsay Hubbard did not come to play at her own dinner party.
In Summer House Season 10 Episode 14, during Lindsay’s themed “Lost Supper,” she went straight for Kyle Cooke’s throat — and the confrontation set off one of the biggest meltdowns of the season.
While the group was sharing what they had “lost and found” this summer, Lindsay turned the conversation serious. She directly called Kyle out for prioritizing his new DJ career over Amanda and their future as a family. She accused him of thinking being a DJ was “more important than having a family.”
That was all it took.
Kyle immediately got defensive, raised his voice, and lashed out at Amanda with a sharp “F*ck you.”
The argument escalated so quickly that Ben tried to intervene, but Kyle stormed out of the dinner. Moments later, he threw a can of Loverboy at Carl, who had followed him outside. The episode cut right as Carl was being held back from confronting him.
Lindsay’s Brutal Read
Lindsay has been one of the most vocal supporters of Amanda this season, and she made her position crystal clear at the dinner. She wasn’t just speaking as a friend — she was calling out what she sees as Kyle’s selfishness and lack of partnership.
This read feels like a long time coming. It directly echoes Amanda’s frustration in Episode 7 when she told Kyle, “I didn’t marry a DJ.”
Since then, Kyle’s career pivot has been a constant source of tension, contributing to his explosive meltdown in Episode 8 and Amanda declaring that couples therapy is their “last shot.”
Kyle’s Spiraling Season
Kyle’s blowup at Lindsay’s dinner is his second major public crash-out this season. The first was in Episode 8, when he called Amanda a “fcking dumbass btch” in front of the entire house. In Episode 13, he admitted he was having more fun when Amanda wasn’t around, calling it a “rude awakening.”
Now, at a group dinner meant for reflection, Kyle once again lost control and directed his anger at Amanda. The pattern is becoming impossible to ignore.
The House Is Tired
The rest of the cast looked exhausted by the outburst. Lindsay, who organized the dinner, has repeatedly said Amanda deserves better. Carl, who has his own unresolved issues with Kyle, was pulled into the drama when the can was thrown at him.
Amanda has looked increasingly drained throughout the season. Between the public fights, financial stress, lack of a prenup, and now this latest humiliation at a group event, she appears to be reaching her limit.
With only a few episodes left before the reunion, this dinner meltdown feels like a major turning point. Kyle and Amanda’s marriage has been the central storyline of Season 10, and it is rapidly deteriorating in real time.
Lindsay’s pointed confrontation may have been the spark, but the fire between Kyle and Amanda has been burning for a long time.
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock. The reunion is going to be unforgettable.
