Ciara & West’s “Best Friendship” Gets Awkward as Amanda Feels Left Out
The Ciara and West “best friends” era is already getting complicated — and Amanda Batula is not here for it.
In Summer House Season 10 Episode 14, Amanda grew visibly uncomfortable when she learned about Ciara and West’s upcoming “double date.”
The news came after West had told the group he had the “best night of his life” over the weekend — while Amanda had chosen to skip the house because she was feeling overwhelmed.
Amanda didn’t hold back in her confessional. She scoffed at the idea of Ciara and West going on an intimate double date, saying:
“The last thing I would ever do is just like invite Ciara and West out on an intimate date. They just became friends.”
She also claimed she would be “the happiest person” if Ciara and West got back together, but admitted she was “skeptical and weary of him.”

The Awkward Triangle No One Saw Coming
This moment feels particularly messy because of the history involved. Amanda and Ciara have been best friends for years. West is Ciara’s ex. And now Amanda is dating West.
The “best friendship” between Ciara and West was only recently established in Episode 12 after an emotional heart-to-heart.
Just two episodes earlier in Episode 11, Ciara had put West on probation after he made out with another girl right in front of her. Now they’re planning double dates, and Amanda is feeling sidelined.
Amanda’s discomfort is understandable. She’s in the middle of a very public divorce from Kyle, navigating a new relationship with West, and watching her best friend and her new boyfriend grow closer again.
Old Tensions Resurface
This isn’t the first time Amanda has found herself in an awkward spot with West and Ciara. Earlier in the season, West was one of the first people to comfort Amanda after Kyle’s explosive meltdown in Episode 8. Their connection grew from there, eventually leading to their confirmed romance.
Now, with Ciara and West trying to rebuild their friendship, Amanda is stuck in the middle. She told Ciara and Mia she would “die” for Ciara, but her skepticism about West’s intentions was obvious.
The house is starting to feel the awkward energy. West’s comment about having the “best night of his life” while Amanda wasn’t there only added salt to the wound.
Where Does This Go From Here?
Ciara and West’s renewed friendship was supposed to be a positive step forward. Instead, it’s already creating new tension with Amanda. With the season winding down and the reunion approaching, this awkward triangle is only going to become more complicated.
Amanda has made it clear she’s protective of Ciara. Ciara has made it clear she’s trying to move forward with West as friends. And West is somehow caught in the middle of it all — again.
The “best friends” label might be new, but the underlying complications are very familiar.
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock. The drama between Amanda, Ciara, and West is far from over.
