Ciara Forgives West and They Become Best Friends Again — But Is It Really Over?
After weeks of tension, flirtation, heartbreak, and one very public make-out session, Ciara Miller and West Wilson have finally cleared the air.
In Summer House Season 10 Episode 12, the two sat down for a raw, emotional conversation that ended with Ciara asking West if they could “just be best friends again.” The moment was tearful, vulnerable, and felt like a long-overdue release for both of them.
Ciara admitted she’s been exhausted from holding onto resentment. “I’m almost scared to be nice to you… because I’m afraid to be embarrassed,” she told him.
She also confessed she had built up stories in her head about who West is and what he’s done, adding, “I’m sure he’s built up stories in his head, and we should just talk and just put it all out there.”
West listened, apologized again for hurting her, and the two shared a warm, genuine embrace. For a brief moment, it felt like real progress in one of the show’s most complicated on-again/off-again dynamics.
The Long Road to This Moment
This reconciliation didn’t come out of nowhere. West delivered a sincere apology to Ciara back in Episode 7 during the iconic Spin the Bottle game.
They had been flirting again in Episode 11, with the two peeking out of their bedroom doors testing the waters. But that progress was shattered when West made out with another girl right in front of Ciara at Jesse’s party, prompting her to put him “back on probation.”
Now, in Episode 12, Ciara explained how tiring it’s been to keep up the front that she hates him. She told him she doesn’t actually hate him — she’s just been protecting herself.
West admitted he felt bad and that his main goal has always been not to hurt Ciara’s feelings. He even compared the guilt to “cheating on my f*cking wife.”
Is This Peace Permanent?
While the hug looked beautiful on the surface, fans are already skeptical. Jesse had warned earlier that he’s “seen this movie before” and doesn’t believe West is ready for anything real. The house has watched West and Ciara go through this cycle for years — flirtation, hurt, apology, repeat.
Ciara herself sounded cautious. She said she wants West to be able to live his life freely, but she also made it clear she’s tired of the emotional rollercoaster.
For now, they’ve agreed to be best friends again. But with several episodes left in the season and the reunion looming, many viewers are wondering if this friendship can actually survive — or if old patterns will inevitably pull them back into complicated territory.
The embrace was sweet. The history is complicated. And in true Summer House fashion, nothing ever stays simple for long.
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock.
