Daisy Below Deck

Daisy Warns Ellie “She Will Be F*cking Fired Next” After Explosive Shrimp Cocktail Showdown on BDDU

The tension between Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher and Ellie Dubaich has reached a dangerous new level.

In Below Deck Down Under Season 4 Episode 15, Ellie grabbed shrimp directly out of Daisy’s hand during service and then gaslit her about the incident. Daisy, clearly at her limit, walked away and told Alesia that if Ellie “keeps this sht up,” she “will be fcking fired next.”

This wasn’t just another small argument — it was the latest chapter in Ellie’s increasingly toxic season.

The Shrimp Cocktail Incident

During dinner service, Daisy was carefully trying to plate the shrimp cocktails when Ellie reached over and snatched shrimp from her hand.

When Daisy confronted her, Ellie responded with, “Calm down, that’s very intense,” and claimed Daisy was “struggling” to place the shrimp. The gaslighting was so obvious that even Ben later joked in his confessional that only Ellie could turn a minor plating issue into a full “attack.”

The moment highlighted just how strained the interior team has become.

Ellie’s Season-Long Downward Spiral

Ellie’s behavior didn’t come out of nowhere. Her pattern of letting personal drama bleed into her work has been visible since the very beginning of the season.

In Episode 15, that resentment boiled over into open defiance during service.

Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher has been carrying the interior department on her back all season. She was already “hanging on by a thread” after the disasters of Episode 11, and she only just fired Mike in Episode 14 for repeated disrespect.

Now, with Ellie’s behavior getting worse — and a new ally in Barbie Pascual arriving — Daisy is clearly running out of patience. Her strong warning wasn’t said in anger; it was a clear statement that she will not tolerate another toxic crew member.

With several charters still remaining, the interior is more unstable than ever. Ellie now has Barbie as her ride-or-die, while Daisy is trying to hold everything together.

The big question on everyone’s mind is whether Ellie’s personal issues will finally get her fired, or if she can turn things around before it’s too late.

One thing is certain: the shrimp cocktail showdown may have been small, but it revealed how deep the fractures in the interior department have become.

Below Deck Down Under Season 4 airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo, streaming next day on Peacock.
