Ben Breaks Up With Jenna Over Misread Text: “It’s Too Much Drama”
Ben Robinson has once again hit the self-destruct button on his romance with Jenna Woudberg — this time over a single misinterpreted text message.
In Below Deck Down Under Season 4 Episode 15, Jenna sent Eddy a late-night text saying she misses him “way more than [she’s] supposed to.”
Eddy, still reeling from being dumped, showed the message to Ben. Instead of communicating calmly, Ben confronted Jenna and abruptly ended their relationship, telling her it was “too much drama.”
He even added fuel to the fire by claiming she regretted pursuing him. A stunned Jenna fired back, “F*cking idiot, I didn’t say that,” as Ben walked away.
Ben told Jenna directly, “It’s too much drama,” before walking away.
Why Ben’s Insecurity Keeps Ruining Things
Ben’s reaction reveals a clear pattern. Throughout the season, he has struggled with trust and commitment whenever things get complicated.
From his distracting early flirtation with Ellie that caused service issues in Episode 4, to his defensiveness with Daisy, Ben tends to pull away or lash out when he feels emotionally vulnerable.
Ellie’s ongoing gossip and jealousy likely played a role in planting doubts in Ben’s mind. Even after Jenna had finally chosen him over Eddy, Ben couldn’t let go of his insecurities.
Jenna, for her part, has been emotionally exhausted by the back-and-forth. After trying to make things work with both men at different points, she told Ben he was misunderstanding her words. “I didn’t say that,” she cried after he walked away.
What This Means Moving Forward
With Ben and Jenna now broken up (again), the working environment on the yacht has become even more awkward. Eddy still has feelings for Jenna and may see this as an opening. Meanwhile, Ben’s trust issues and Ellie’s influence continue to create unnecessary drama in the interior.
This love triangle has delivered some of the most entertaining moments of Season 4 — from flirty beginnings to painful rejections and messy hookups.
Whether Ben and Jenna can reconcile, or if Jenna ends up circling back to Eddy, remains one of the biggest unanswered questions heading into the final stretch of the season.
One thing is certain: on a yacht this small, there’s nowhere to hide from the drama.
Below Deck Down Under Season 4 airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo, streaming next day on Peacock.
