New Stew Barbie + Ellie Alliance Threatens to Tear Interior Apart on Below Deck Down Under
The interior department barely had time to recover from Mike’s firing before a new storm arrived.
In Below Deck Down Under Season 4 Episode 15, Barbie Pascual made her dramatic return and instantly aligned herself with Ellie Dubaich, creating a volatile new faction on the yacht. Within hours of boarding, Barbie was already stirring drama and openly targeting Jenna.
“I’m back,” Barbie laughed as she ran squealing into Ellie’s arms. She quickly declared in her confessional, “Massive resting b*tch face, girl HATES me,” referring to Jenna. Even more boldly, she suggested to Ellie, “Maybe, I’ll just flirt with Eddy and piss [Jenna] off.”
The alliance formed almost immediately — and it looks dangerous.
Ellie’s Toxicity Gets a Powerful Ally
Ellie, still bitter after João’s rejection, now has backup. When Daisy confronted her during the shrimp cocktail incident, Ellie gaslit her, saying, “Calm down, that’s very intense,” and claimed, “Daisy just attacked me.”
This behavior fits Ellie’s season-long pattern. From her distracting flirtation with Ben in Episode 4, to her aggressive pursuit of João (“I want to merge genetics with him”) in Episode 5, through her jealous rants in Episodes 12–14, Ellie has repeatedly let personal drama affect her work.
Now empowered by Barbie, Ellie told Ben, “She’s going to have my back… She’s a ride or die for me.”
Daisy’s Growing Frustration
Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, who has been “hanging on by a thread” since Episode 11, is clearly reaching her limit. After firing Mike last week for disrespect, she warned Alesia about Ellie:
“She keeps this sht up, I’m telling you, she will be fcking fired next.”
Daisy’s patience is wearing thin as she now faces not just Ellie, but Ellie plus a new outspoken ally who refuses to respect the chain of command.
Impact on Jenna and the Interior
Jenna was nervous from the moment she heard a new stew was coming. Her fears were confirmed when Barbie told Ellie, “She’s out of her f*cking mind,” about Jenna.
The new alliance adds even more tension to Jenna’s already complicated romantic life with Ben and Eddy. Meanwhile, the interior department — which has struggled with stability since the early charters — now looks more fractured than ever.
What’s Next?
Barbie’s explosive return has turned a dysfunctional interior into something potentially combustible. With Ellie feeling bolder and Daisy running out of patience, the big question is whether another firing is on the horizon.
One thing is certain: the calm after Mike’s departure was extremely short-lived.
Below Deck Down Under Season 4 airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo, streaming next day on Peacock.
