Nia Sanchez Reveals Death Threats Sent to Husband Danny Booko Over ‘The Valley’ Behavior

The Valley star Nia Sanchez has opened up about the disturbing backlash her husband, Danny Booko, has faced from fans following his portrayal on the show, including death threats and suggestions that he take his own life.

In a recent interview with US Weekly, Sanchez shared that she and Booko have seen the harsh comments and direct messages flooding in.

“Honestly, it makes me wonder what’s wrong with people because he’s gotten death threats,” Sanchez said. “He has told people — or people have told him — ‘You should just like, you know, go in the back and take yourself out so that your kids and wife can be happier.’”

She added, “That is so heartbreaking to me that that is like what people feel comfortable saying to another human being.”

Sanchez noted that while the toxic comments do impact Danny, he remains committed to protecting his mental health for the sake of their family.

“He’s so intentional with his headspace,” she explained. “I’m so grateful for that because while those ones really do affect him and get him down, he starts every day fresh. He takes care of his mental health — like physically with working out, and like prayer, and like meditation — and so he’s really intentional to be in a good head space for our family. But it does — it does affect him.”

The backlash stems from Danny Booko’s behavior during a challenging season of the Bravo reality series, where he was seen snapping at Nia amid the stresses of parenthood and life in the spotlight.

Last month, Booko issued a heartfelt public apology via his Instagram Story, addressing his actions directly.

“Watching these last few episodes back hasn’t been easy,” he wrote. “It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that I’m embarrassed by and not proud of. A short fuse, stress, alcohol, and lack of sleep are never a good combination, but that’s not an excuse. I should never have taken any of it out on you.”

Booko continued, acknowledging the strains of balancing family life: “Balancing parenthood and life can stretch you in ways you don’t fully realize until you see yourself through a different lens.”

He concluded by reaffirming his love and respect for his wife: “I love, honor, and respect you deeply, and I did not show that in some of these moments.”

The couple’s experience highlights the intense scrutiny reality TV stars often face and the darker side of fan engagement on social media. As of now, neither Nia nor Danny has commented further on specific actions being taken regarding the threats.

Fans have expressed mixed reactions online, with some offering support while others continue to criticize Booko’s on-screen conduct.
