The Valley’s Zack Wickham on His Rocky Friendship with Jasmine, Where He Stands with Brittany Amid Janet Drama, Danny’s Drinking “Real Issue,” and Who’s the True Mean Girl in the Group

Zack Wickham isn’t holding back as The Valley Season 3 heats up. The fan-favorite and Brittany Cartwright’s ride-or-die opened up on the messy group dynamics, from fractured friendships to the elephant in the room: Danny Booko’s drinking.

On his bond with Jasmine Goode, Zack admits it’s been rocky. The pair, who often podcast together and share a no-filter vibe, hit bumps over loyalty tests and wedding guest list drama. “We’ve been through it,” Zack shared in recent interviews.

“But that’s what real friendships do—they get tested on camera.” He says they’re working through it, but the Kristen Doute triangle keeps pulling everyone in different directions.

Zack stands firmly in Brittany’s corner amid her ongoing Janet Caperna tension. With years of Kentucky history and post-Jax support, he’s protective. “Brittany’s been through enough,” he noted, calling out what he sees as unnecessary pile-ons while praising her growth.

The Zack-Janet reconciliation attempts have been awkward at best, with Zack pushing for real talk that Janet sometimes shuts down.

The Danny Situation

Zack echoes Jasmine’s “triggered” feelings about Danny’s drinking. After incidents like the Santa Barbara wine tasting meltdown and pool party White Claws, Zack says the “real issue” can’t be ignored.

“We’ve all seen the dark side Danny,” he said, referencing inappropriate behavior and denial. While he hopes for accountability, Zack notes Nia’s protectiveness adds another layer.

Mean Girl Talk and Biggest Ego

Zack flips the script on the “mean girl” label. While some point fingers at Brittany, he suggests the energy might be coming from elsewhere in the group—hinting Janet’s intensity and selective memory play a role.

As for biggest ego? Zack doesn’t name names outright but laughs that “drama follows me for a reason,” while calling out performative moments across the cast.

With reunion looming, Zack’s emotional loyalty to Kristen and Brittany shines through. Expect more fireworks as old wounds reopen.
