“Old Sutton” Is Back? Tamra Judge Calls Out Sutton Stracke’s “Awkward” Behavior at Rachel Zoe’s Disco Party — Teddi Fires Back in Defense
Is the “old Sutton” making a comeback on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15?
Tamra Judge didn’t hold back on the latest episode of “Two Ts in a Pod,” claiming that Sutton Stracke appeared “a little awkward” during Rachel Zoe’s Studio 54 disco-themed birthday party — and that fans got “a little taste of old Sutton” this week.
Teddi Mellencamp quickly jumped to Sutton’s defense, arguing that she’s “just really sensitive right now” amid her ongoing personal struggles.
The podcast discussion comes after a highly charged Episode 17 that left fans buzzing. At Rachel’s glitter-filled disco bash, Sutton nearly stormed out after feeling repeatedly belittled and dismissed by Dorit Kemsley.
When Sutton suggested Dorit should apologize to Kyle for their lingering feud, Dorit responded with condescending shade, later muttering that she would “hate [Sutton] forever for this” and calling her a “weirdo.”
Visibly hurt, Sutton told Kyle, “I’m starting to not really give a fcking sht,” and described Dorit’s behavior as straight-up “Mean Girl Dorit 101.” In her confessional, she opened up about the emotional toll of dropping her youngest child off at college and feeling “alone” this summer.
The Italy Fallout Still Poisoning the Group
Tamra says Sutton was a little awkward in the last episode and thought we got a taste of the old Sutton. Teddi disagrees and says she thinks Sutton is just really sensitive at the moment.

This tense party moment is a direct continuation of the explosive “Last Supper” dinner in Italy from the previous episode.
That disastrous final meal saw Dorit’s friendships with both Erika Jayne and Kyle Richards blow up in dramatic fashion. Dorit shocked everyone by claiming newcomer Bozoma Saint John had shown her more support than anyone else at the table — including Erika, who had stood by her during her messy separation from PK Kemsley.
The Italy trip also featured Dorit stranding Kyle and Erika on the tarmac for over an hour without an apology, followed by a fiery exchange that included the now-infamous “c*nt” comment.
At Rachel’s party, Erika admitted she needed space from Dorit to figure out if their friendship was even “worth salvaging,” while Kyle labeled Dorit as being on a full “path of destruction.”
Meanwhile, Sutton — who has shown noticeable growth this season (praised by Boz for being more logical and attentive) — appeared to hit a raw nerve when confronted with Dorit’s cold shoulder.
As Season 15 heats up toward what Kyle has already teased as a dramatic reunion, fans are divided: Is Sutton simply going through a sensitive empty-nest phase, or are we seeing the return of the emotional, reactive Sutton that polarized viewers in past seasons?
Tamra and Teddi’s split reaction has only added more fuel to the fire. What do you think — was Sutton awkward at the disco party, or is she just emotionally raw right now?
Drop your take below and let us know if you’re Team Sutton or Team Dorit heading into the reunion!
