KJ and Dara Make It Official — But the Girls Think They’re Moving Way Too Fast on Summer House Season 10

KJ and Dara just took their romance to the next level — and the rest of the house isn’t sure it’s a good idea.

In Summer House Season 10 Episode 12, Dara excitedly told Mia and Ciara that KJ had officially asked her to be his girlfriend. She was glowing. KJ, for his part, admitted in his confessional that he’s never liked anyone as much as Dara and doesn’t want his past heartbreak to ruin what they have.

“I don’t want to do that with Dara,” he said, explaining how he’s been trying to let his guard down.

But not everyone is celebrating.

Mia and Ciara immediately expressed concern that the new couple is moving too fast. The girls have been watching KJ and Dara’s relationship accelerate since Episode 7, when they shared flirty boxing lessons and KJ invited Dara to the house. Carl even warned early on that they were going “too fast.”

Their worries intensified after Bailey’s rumor in Episode 8 (claiming Dara spent an hour in Ben’s room), which caused KJ to have a panic attack. Even though Dara confronted Bailey and the two squashed their beef in Episode 10, the girls still aren’t convinced the relationship is on solid ground.

Mia and Ciara’s skepticism feels protective but also realistic. They’ve seen how quickly things can blow up in the house, especially with new romances.

Dara tried to reassure them that she and KJ are “rock-solid” and not making their relationship everyone’s problem, but the girls weren’t fully convinced.
