Emmy Won’t Drop the Brad Drama — Michols Nearly Cries During Explosive Punta Cana Showdown
Emmy Sharrett is still refusing to let the Brad feud die — and it’s pushing Michols to his absolute breaking point in the Dominican Republic.
On Southern Hospitality Season 4 Episode 9, Michols tried to head off disaster by pulling Emmy aside before dinner in Punta Cana. He wanted to prevent another explosive group blow-up. Instead, things got even heavier.
Emmy immediately launched into how unsupported she feels. Michols reminded her that he had been there for her — holding her hand, drying her tears, and calming her down repeatedly — but he can’t support her microaggressive comments about Brad or defend her blindly.
Then came the rawest moment of the conversation.
Michols looked at her and said she will never understand what it’s like to be in his skin, or in the skin of Mia, Lake, or Brad. He pleaded with her, as a friend, to finally drop it.
Emmy didn’t. She spiraled again, repeating her claims about feeling “unsafe,” Brad stalking her, and how threatened she felt. The conversation spilled straight into dinner.
At the table, Michols sat quietly, visibly fighting back tears. His face showed pure exhaustion and disappointment as Emmy continued to make the entire Punta Cana trip about her narrative. The usually composed Michols looked completely broken — on the verge of crying in front of the entire group.
This breakdown stems from weeks of frustration. Emmy had already spammed him with dozens of ChatGPT messages accusing him of gaslighting her and not supporting her feelings.
Maddi had even tried to reason with Emmy on the pirate yacht, bluntly telling her, “loyalty is important, but blind loyalty is bullsh*t.”
Yet here they are in paradise, and Emmy is still centering herself at everyone’s expense.
Michols has been one of the most level-headed voices this season, which makes seeing him emotionally drained even more telling. The rest of the group is trying to enjoy Maddi’s birthday trip, but the Emmy-Michols tension is casting a dark cloud over the luxury suites and poolside vibes.
Will this Punta Cana trip finally force Emmy to reflect, or is she going to keep alienating everyone around her?
At this rate, Michols might not be the only one reaching his limit.
Southern Hospitality airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock.
