Andy Cohen Calls Summer House Reunion Leak “Disgusting” — But Says Major Changes Unlikely

Bravo boss Andy Cohen is speaking out about the controversial leak of the Summer House Season 10 reunion audio — and he’s not mincing words.

Appearing at Vulture’s Reality Masterminds Celebration on Thursday night, Cohen addressed the fallout from the leaked clips that surfaced in April, which featured a heated confrontation between Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula over Amanda’s romance with Ciara’s ex, West Wilson.

When asked if the network plans to turn Bravo studios into “Fort Knox” to prevent future leaks, Cohen replied:

“[Protocol] is not not going to change. Certainly when something like this happens, you look around a little bit.”

He went on to note that this was “the first … that’s happened in hundreds of reunions” and emphasized that the network is “always mindful” of security. However, he stopped short of announcing any sweeping new measures.

Cohen also didn’t hold back when describing the leak itself, calling it a “disgusting” breach of privacy.

What Was Leaked

The leaked audio captured Ciara going off on Amanda, labeling her former best friend a “f–king snake” for dating West. In one explosive moment, Ciara told Amanda:

“There are a million other f–king guys in New York City and … you chose the one guy.”

The timing of the leak was particularly painful, coming shortly after Amanda and West confirmed their relationship in late March — a move that blindsided much of the cast, including Ciara.

Cohen admitted he was “surprised” by Amanda and West’s original Instagram statement confirming their romance, specifically noting that it didn’t include any apology to Ciara.

No Comment on the Drama Itself

While Cohen was willing to address the leak, he declined to weigh in on the actual drama between Amanda, West, and Ciara, saying his thoughts “become pretty clear at the reunion.”

The reunion is scheduled to air on May 19, and fans are already anticipating one of the most intense episodes in recent Bravo history.

What’s Next for Bravo Security

Although Cohen said the network is reviewing protocols following the incident, he made it clear that they don’t plan on overhauling everything. The leak has already led to the firing of at least one Bravo employee, according to previous reports.

For now, the focus remains on the upcoming reunion special, where the cast — including Kyle Cooke, who is still navigating his separation from Amanda — will finally address the season’s many scandals on camera.

Summer House Season 10 continues airing Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock. The Season 10 reunion airs May 19.
