Amanda Batula Caught Sipping From “Lost” Custom Mugs — Small Biz Owner Drops Receipts on Summer House Star

Summer House fans are losing it after Amanda Batula stands accused of straight-up stealing hand-painted mugs from a small ceramic artist — and the video proof is serving major “gotcha” energy.

The drama exploded Tuesday when Bravo fan account @pumptinis posted screenshots of an Instagram story from ektdesigns215, a small business owner who creates wheel-thrown, hand-painted pottery.

The artist initially sent Amanda free pieces as promo; Amanda reposted them enthusiastically, which the owner says meant the world to her fledgling brand.

About a year later, the two chatted again and the artist shipped Amanda a set of custom mugs she truly poured her heart (and hours) into. Amanda allegedly replied that the package never arrived.

Communication went dead. The artist followed up multiple times, even offering to resend the order at her own expense, but heard crickets.

Then came the receipts. Yesterday, ektdesigns215 was sent a clip from a January Us Weekly live interview showing Amanda casually sipping from one of the exact custom mugs — the dog portrait design clearly visible on camera.

“When you’re a small business, that time, effort, and cost really matters!” the artist wrote, signing off with #teamciara for extra shade.

Amanda Batula has been a Summer House mainstay since the show’s 2017 debut. The New Jersey native and UConn grad started as a “friend of” before becoming full cast.

A graphic designer by trade, she joined boyfriend-turned-husband Kyle Cooke’s canned-cocktail brand Loverboy as creative director, launched her own Amanda Batula Swim line, and famously married Kyle in her parents’ backyard in 2021 after years of on-again, off-again chaos.

The couple announced their separation earlier this year, only for Amanda to confirm a new romance with castmate West Wilson — Ciara Miller’s ex and a close pal of Amanda’s.

Fans dubbed the messy love triangle “Scamanda,” flooding social media with betrayal accusations. Amanda even issued a public apology and briefly stepped away from Instagram citing mental health.

The mug scandal is already piling on. X is flooded with reactions calling her “Birdmanda,” “Scamanda 2.0,” and “shameless.” One user wrote, “You know what they say — if you lie, you cheat, you steal.” Another, a fellow artist, said they’d “literally cry” if a client pulled this. No word yet from Amanda or her reps.

With Summer House filming wrapped and reunion looming, this fresh hit to her “relatable girlboss” image could sting — especially from someone whose entire brand leans on design and supporting small creators.

Whether it blows over or becomes reunion fodder, one thing’s clear: Bravo fans never forget a receipt. And this one’s got Amanda’s lipstick all over it.
