Morgan McMichaels Wins Big in All Stars 11 Premiere Lip Sync, Claims $10K

Morgan McMichaels finally got her long-overdue moment of glory on the RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 11 premiere, taking home the first victory of the season along with a $10,000 cash tip.

In a high-stakes lip sync to La Toya Jackson’s “Such a Wicked Love,” Morgan defeated Dawn to kick off the new Tournament of All Stars format with serious momentum.

The episode, titled “Break Dancin’ 2: Electric Rugaloo,” dropped on Paramount+ on May 8, 2026.

Morgan McMichaels: The Talented Queen Who Finally Breaks Through

Morgan has long been considered one of the most talented queens to never fully break through on Drag Race. Since her Season 2 run in 2009, she’s built a reputation as a fierce performer, singer, and entertainer — but luck has rarely been on her side.

After a respectable but early exit in All Stars 3, Morgan returned to All Stars 11 with one clear mission: “Finally live up to her Drag Race potential.” Entering Bracket 1, she made it clear she was ready to show the judges what she’s truly capable of.

Dominating the 80s Challenge

For the premiere challenge, the six queens in Bracket 1 had to write and perform original verses in an 80s-style group number called “Break Dancin’ 2: Electric Rugaloo,” while also serving La Toya Jackson-inspired runway looks.

Morgan stood out during both rehearsal and the main performance. Despite admitting sports metaphors weren’t her thing, she brought undeniable stage presence and performance quality that the judges couldn’t ignore.

On the “La Toyas R Us” runway, Morgan delivered a strong Moulin Rouge showgirl tribute that complemented her performance energy perfectly.

The Epic Top 2 Lip Sync

After critiques, RuPaul announced the Top 2 of the week: Dawn and Morgan McMichaels.

The pair then faced off in a lip sync to La Toya Jackson’s “Such a Wicked Love” — a thematically perfect choice for the birthday tribute episode.

Morgan brought fire, precision, and emotional depth to the performance. Her years of club performing and stage experience clearly paid off. When the music stopped, RuPaul declared Morgan the winner of the lip sync.

Results:

  • Morgan McMichaels: 3 points + $10,000 cash tip
  • Dawn: 2 points (strong runner-up)

The bottom four queens (including Mystique Summers) each received one point to gift as “Most Valuable Queen” in the following episode.

Why This Victory Feels So Satisfying

This win is pure redemption for Morgan and the fans who have rooted for her for over 15 years. Often praised for her talent but sent home too soon in previous seasons, Morgan is now positioned as an early frontrunner in the Tournament of All Stars.

Her strong start also adds extra spice to her tense reunion with Mystique Summers, setting up potential drama as Bracket 1 continues.

Stream the full episode on Paramount+ right now to watch Morgan’s victorious lip sync and the entire La Toya Jackson birthday celebration.
