The announcement, made on January 21, 2026, comes accompanied by an official teaser trailer and first-look photos that tease an even more ambitious era of space exploration. Picking up years after the dramatic “Goldilocks asteroid heist” in Season 4, Season 5 finds Happy Valley on Mars transformed into a thriving colony with thousands of residents.

The Red Planet now serves as a launchpad for missions venturing deeper into the solar system. However, growing tensions simmer as Earth nations push for law and order on Mars, creating friction between the independent Martian inhabitants and their terrestrial governments.
