Summer House Shock: West Wilson Had a Girlfriend Before Dating Amanda Batula
West Wilson was reportedly dating another woman exclusively when his secret romance with Summer House co-star Amanda Batula became public, according to a new report.
A source close to the situation told Page Six that as recently as last week, West was in an exclusive relationship with Meija Moreno — often referred to by fans as “Montana girl.” The two reportedly became official in the fall/winter of 2025, and Moreno had met West’s family and close friends.
The timing raises serious questions, as Amanda and West released a joint statement on March 31, 2026, confirming they are now in a “full-blown relationship,” not just a casual fling.
The “Montana Girl” Connection
Moreno, 28, who moved to the East Coast, was even given a shout-out by West during his March 24 appearance on Watch What Happens Live. He referred to her as his “friend Meija” who made his custom horse hair tie through her company, Snarl Studios.
According to the source, West had repeatedly assured Moreno that the rumors about him and Amanda were untrue.
However, shortly after the WWHL episode, he allegedly called Moreno to confess that he had been caught making out with Amanda and that their romance was about to become public.
It remains unclear whether Amanda knew about West’s exclusive relationship with Moreno at the time.
Adding Fuel to an Already Messy Scandal
This new detail complicates an already explosive situation. Amanda and West’s confirmed romance has reportedly left several cast members feeling hurt and betrayed:
- Ciara Miller (West’s ex and Amanda’s former best friend) is said to be “heartbroken” and “furious.” Sources claim Ciara had recently rekindled things with West and was casually seeing him again before the news broke. She unfollowed both Amanda and West immediately after their statement.
- Kyle Cooke (Amanda’s estranged husband) is reportedly “pissed” and “blindsided.” He allegedly asked both Amanda and West about the rumors multiple times and was told they were false.
The scandal has also spilled outside the Summer House cast. Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia publicly called out Dave Portnoy for outing her early knowledge of the romance, referring to him as “Dementia Dave.”
Where Things Stand
Amanda and West’s joint statement acknowledged the “complicated relationship dynamics” and said their connection grew out of a long-standing friendship. They emphasized they never wanted to cause hurt but needed time to process things privately.
However, with reports now claiming West was exclusive with another woman until very recently, many fans and insiders are questioning the timeline and honesty surrounding the new couple.
As Season 10 continues airing, the drama surrounding Amanda, West, Ciara, and Kyle is expected to intensify both on and off screen.
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock.
