West Wilson Breaks Silence on Amanda Rumors, Supports Kyle’s Reaction, Talks Ciara Future
West Wilson is setting the record straight after a chaotic week in the Hamptons.
Appearing on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live (March 24, 2026), the 31-year-old Summer House star addressed the biggest talking points from Season 10 Episode 8 — including Kyle Cooke’s shocking meltdown toward Amanda Batula, cheating rumors, and his own complicated dynamic with Ciara Miller.
On Amanda Dating Rumors & Their Friendship
When host Andy Cohen asked about rumors that he and Amanda have been romantically involved since her separation from Kyle, West shut it down while keeping things warm.
“She’s single now and it’s happened already to other people that she’s hung out with,” West said. “We were just hanging out in New York. She’s single. I gotta show her the streets a little bit. But if it’s not clear, that’s a very important person to me and I care about her a lot. That’s a friend.”
This comes after West was seen stepping in to comfort Amanda during Episode 8, when Kyle lashed out at her in front of the entire house, calling her a “fcking dumbass btch” (as covered in our previous article: Kyle’s Shocking Meltdown: Is This the Beginning of the End for Kyle & Amanda?).
West explained why he felt compelled to get involved: “Typically with couples, you stay out of it… but that one I felt like I was there in the moment that it took off, and it was just unjustified. I felt like it was my place.”
He added that Kyle’s words made him “uncomfortable” and that he immediately told Kyle the first step should be a simple apology.
On Kyle & Amanda’s Split and Recent Changes
West shared that he didn’t believe either Kyle or Amanda was working hard enough on their marriage in the months leading up to the breakup. However, he defended Kyle’s claim that the women he’d been linked to recently were just friends.
When asked how the former couple seems now that they’ve announced their separation, West noted a clear shift: “I think they both feel lighter, so I think that it’s better.”
On Lindsay Shading Dara & KJ’s Romance
West also pushed back against Lindsay Hubbard’s recent shade toward Dara Levitan. In Episode 8, Lindsay suggested Dara might be more interested in fame than love with KJ Dillard — a rumor that contributed to KJ’s panic attack (as detailed in our article: Bailey Strikes Again: Her Accusation About Dara & Ben Sends KJ Into a Panic Attack).
“I don’t like the ‘Dara there for fame’ discourse,” West said firmly. “I invited her, so I’m in the best place to defend her… It’s not as deep as everyone made it out to be.”
He added that he believes Dara and KJ actually have “great chemistry.”
Other WWHL Highlights
- West praised the diverse production crew for facilitating the cast’s honest conversation about race in Episode 8.
- He revealed that Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport hit on him at the Super Bowl earlier this year, calling their flirty phone conversation “dope.”
- On the WWHL After Show, West was asked whether he worries about hurting Ciara while trying to rebuild their friendship. (He did not give a full answer in the main episode.)
Where Things Stand With Ciara
West has been open about wanting to improve his relationship with Ciara this season. After delivering a sincere apology to her in Episode 7 during the Spin the Bottle game (as we covered previously), the two have shown subtle signs of lingering attraction and flirtation.
With the house still reeling from Kyle and Amanda’s blowup and new rumors swirling, West’s appearance on WWHL gives fans a clearer look at where his head is at — both with his castmates and his complicated history with Ciara.
Summer House continues Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo, with episodes streaming next day on Peacock.
