Host and executive producer Jeff Probst announced the exciting fan-powered event to celebrate the milestone season. “It’s time to light your torch,” Probst said in a promo video. “We’ve hidden 50 immunity idols—one in every state. Your job: solve the clues, find the idol, and get a shot at something truly cool.”

How to Begin Your Search for Idols

The challenge kicks off on January 30, 2026. Here’s how fans can join:

1. Visit Survivor50Challenge.com and sign up with your email for alerts on the Survivor 50 Digital Hub.
2. Stay tuned for state-specific clues, puzzles, updates, rewards, and exclusive content dropped over the coming weeks.
3. Solve the riddles and follow the hints to locate the hidden immunity idol in your state.
4. Once you find it, take a clear photo of yourself with the idol.
5. Submit the photo to the Survivor 50 Digital Hub to officially qualify and enter.

The hunt runs as a multi-week adventure, ending before the Survivor 50 premiere on February 25, 2026, on CBS and Paramount+. Clues will roll out gradually, so signing up early keeps you in the loop when your state’s clue drops.

What the Winners Will Be Awarded

Each of the 50 idols has one winner per state—the first eligible finder who submits valid proof. These 50 winners earn an incredible prize: an exclusive invitation for themselves and a guest to attend the live Survivor 50 finale in Los Angeles on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

This once-in-a-lifetime experience lets fans witness the epic conclusion of the milestone season in person, alongside other winners from across the country and part of Survivor history.
