Margaret Josephs Leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey After Season 14
After seven seasons on one of Bravo’s most dramatic franchises, Margaret Josephs is officially saying goodbye to The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
The 58-year-old reality star shared the news herself in a candid Instagram video posted on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Filmed on the set of a different project, Josephs appeared relaxed and glamorous as she confirmed she will not be returning for the upcoming season.
“I’ve been thinking about a lot of different things, and I am moving on from the Housewives of New Jersey,” she said directly to the camera. “Sorry I don’t look a little more glamorous for you… I’ve been in talks with the network since December, but it’s time to move on.”
Josephs joined RHONJ in Season 8 and quickly became a central figure known for her sharp wit, loyalty to close friend Melissa Gorga, and her long-running feud with Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin.
Over her seven seasons, she delivered memorable moments, including explosive arguments, emotional family storylines, and her successful business ventures like her non-alcoholic beverage line Soirée.
While the announcement may surprise some fans, Josephs made it clear the decision has been building for months. She emphasized that the choice is about personal growth and new opportunities rather than any single conflict.
In the video, she promised fans she’ll be back on their screens “very soon,” hinting at exciting projects ahead. Josephs has already been confirmed for an upcoming Amazon travel series alongside other reality stars, including Kenya Moore, which is expected to film in the Dominican Republic.
The news comes amid a major shake-up for The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The show is reportedly undergoing a reset for Season 15, with casting decisions still being finalized. Earlier rumors suggested tension behind the scenes, including Josephs’ reluctance to film with certain cast members she felt did not wish her family well.
Fans flooded social media with mixed reactions—many expressing sadness over losing “Marge” while others wished her well on her next chapter.
Several longtime viewers noted that her departure, along with Jennifer Aydin’s earlier exit announcement, signals a fresh direction for the long-running series.
Josephs has built a strong fan base thanks to her no-filter personality, interior design expertise, and authentic approach to blending family life with reality TV. She is also the author of the book Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget.
As one of the most outspoken Housewives, Margaret Josephs leaves RHONJ on her own terms. While her time on the show has come to an end, her television journey appears far from over.
Bravo has not yet issued an official comment on the casting changes, but insiders say more announcements about the future of RHONJ are expected soon.
