Kyle & Amanda’s Marriage Hits Rock Bottom: Kyle Admits They’re in ‘Trouble’ After Explosive Fight

Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s marriage appears to be in serious jeopardy after another devastating blowup on Summer House Season 10.

In Episode 9 (“Wrinkles & Rosé”), the tension from Kyle’s shocking outburst in the previous episode continued to poison the atmosphere.

During his geriatric-themed birthday party, West finally followed through on his promise and confronted Kyle about calling Amanda a “fcking dumbass btch” in front of the entire house.

West told Kyle directly: “That cannot be the correct way for you to get sh*t off your chest, and that was bad.” Kyle eventually apologized — but only after being pushed by West and Jesse.

Later that night, Kyle sat down with Amanda and delivered a sobering admission: “I feel like we’re in like, trouble.”

Amanda, still reeling from the public verbal attack, pushed back, reminding him: “You walked past me and said ‘F*ck you.’ The way you speak to me and the things you say to me is the issue.”

A Season of Growing Cracks

This latest low point builds directly on weeks of escalating conflict. In Episode 7, Amanda expressed deep discomfort with Kyle’s new DJ career, telling him, “I didn’t marry a DJ.”

Kyle doubled down, defending the move as beneficial for Loverboy and their finances, while Amanda felt increasingly sidelined.

Just one week later in Episode 8, Kyle’s frustration boiled over into the explosive meltdown that left the entire house stunned. West comforted a tearful Amanda, and Ciara went so far as to suggest the couple should separate, saying they “resent each other” and have hit their breaking point.

Now in Episode 9, the girls — Ciara, Mia, and Lindsay — held a heart-to-heart with Amanda, urging her to consider time apart.

Ciara warned that Kyle’s financial troubles (he’s reportedly personally on the hook for millions in loans) will affect Amanda too, especially since they don’t have a prenup. Mia told Amanda bluntly: “Stop letting him do that sh*t to you. You don’t deserve it.”

Kyle’s Financial Despair Adds Pressure

Kyle’s “woe is me” attitude also surfaced during a tense conversation with Carl. When Carl confronted him about not investing in Soft Bar (despite Carl previously investing in Loverboy when he was broke), Kyle revealed he only has a few months of funding left and admitted bankruptcy is a real possibility.

“I’m out here trying to have fun, and I’m like, ‘I have three months to live,’” Kyle said dramatically.

Carl later complained in his confessional that Kyle “controls the conversation” and never takes real accountability.

Where Do They Go From Here?

At the end of the episode, Kyle told Amanda he needs time to figure out why he lashed out the way he did. Amanda didn’t seem convinced, leaving their future looking more uncertain than ever.

With multiple cast members now openly questioning the marriage — including Ciara’s strong suggestion to separate — Kyle and Amanda’s relationship has reached what many viewers see as its most critical moment in ten seasons.

As the season continues, fans are left wondering: Can Kyle and Amanda survive “troubled waters,” or has the combination of financial stress, public blowups, and years of unresolved issues finally pushed them past the point of no return?

Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock.
