Kyle & Amanda’s Marriage Reaches Breaking Point: “This Is Our Last Shot”
The cracks in Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s marriage have officially turned into a full fracture.
In Summer House Season 10 Episode 10, the couple had one of their most honest — and painful — conversations yet. After weeks of explosive fights, financial stress, and growing resentment, Amanda told the group that couples therapy is now their “last shot” at making things work.
“If we can’t pay someone to fix our problems, then what the f*ck are we doing?” Amanda said in her confessional, her voice heavy with exhaustion.
This moment lands after a brutal stretch of episodes. In Episode 7, Amanda openly pushed back against Kyle’s DJ career ambitions, telling him she “didn’t marry a DJ.”
One week later in Episode 8, Kyle completely lost control during a late-night argument, calling Amanda a “fcking dumbass btch” in front of the entire house. West stepped in to comfort her, and Ciara suggested the couple should separate because they clearly “resent each other.”
By Episode 9, the girls held an intervention with Amanda, urging her to consider time apart. Ciara warned that Kyle’s massive financial troubles — he’s reportedly personally liable for millions in loans with no prenup — would directly impact Amanda too.
Now in Episode 10, Kyle and Amanda sat down for what felt like a last-ditch attempt at honesty. Kyle admitted their relationship is in “trouble,” and Amanda made it clear she has no more chances left to give if therapy doesn’t work.
The emotional weight of the conversation was undeniable. Amanda looked drained. Kyle seemed defeated. The once-fun, party-loving couple that anchored the show for nearly a decade now feels like two people who have simply run out of road.
The Financial Pressure That’s Making Everything Worse
Kyle’s money problems are no longer just background noise — they’re actively poisoning the marriage. He told Carl he only has a few months of funding left and that bankruptcy is a real possibility. That level of stress is clearly bleeding into how he treats Amanda.
The girls’ conversation in Episode 9 laid it out plainly: without a prenup, Amanda could be left in a very difficult position if things fall apart. It’s no wonder she’s reaching the end of her rope.
The House Is Picking Sides
The rest of the house is no longer pretending everything is fine. Ciara, Mia, and Lindsay have all openly supported Amanda and questioned whether she should stay. West, who comforted Amanda after the Episode 8 blowup, continues to be a quiet but noticeable presence in the situation.
Even Carl, usually one of Kyle’s closest friends, seems disillusioned after their own confrontation over Soft Bar and the anniversary of Carl’s brother’s passing.
The once-unbreakable Kyle and Amanda unit now feels fractured beyond repair. The question hanging over the rest of Season 10 is simple but brutal: Is couples therapy enough to save them, or has too much damage already been done?
After everything we’ve watched unfold — the public screaming matches, the financial anxiety, the growing resentment, and now this quiet admission that they’re in serious trouble — it’s hard not to feel like we’re watching the beginning of the end for one of Summer House’s longest-running relationships.
And if therapy doesn’t work? Amanda has already made it clear: there are no more chances left.
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock. The fallout from this “last shot” conversation is only going to get messier.
