Dara vs. Bailey Showdown: Newcomer Confronts Pot-Stirrer Over Ben’s Room Rumor on Summer House Season 10

The tension between Dara Levitan and Bailey Taylor finally exploded in Summer House Season 10 Episode 9 — and it didn’t go the way Dara hoped.

At Lindsay Hubbard’s housewarming party, Dara decided it was time to address the rumor that had been haunting her all weekend.

Previously, Lindsay dropped a bombshell on KJ after hearing from Bailey that Dara had spent nearly an hour in Ben Waddell’s room during her last visit — allegedly going in wearing one outfit and coming out in another.

In Episode 7, she stirred drama with her “joke” suggesting Ben wanted to hook up with Amanda — a comment that led to awkward tension and ultimately ended with Bailey and Ben’s Spin the Bottle make-out session, after which she declared her crush on him “dunzo.”

By Episode 8, Bailey had shifted her chaos elsewhere, telling Lindsay about Dara’s alleged time in Ben’s room, which triggered KJ’s panic attack and forced Dara to deny the claims while reassuring KJ that he was the one she was interested in.

Now in Episode 9, the rumor has come full circle, with Dara finally confronting the source — only for the footage to undermine her denial.

Impact on KJ & Dara’s Budding Romance

The timing couldn’t be worse for KJ and Dara. In Episode 7, their romance was moving fast — complete with flirty boxing lessons and KJ inviting her to the house. Carl even warned the group they were going “too fast.”

After the rumor surfaced in Episode 8, KJ suffered a panic attack and confronted Dara, who insisted nothing happened. While they seemed to move past it temporarily, Bailey’s continued involvement has kept the doubt alive.
