‘RHOBH’ Star Bozoma Saint John Defends Season 15 After Sarah Michelle Gellar Calls It “Boring”: “We Gotta Let It Build”

Bozoma Saint John is pushing back against Sarah Michelle Gellar’s criticism of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, insisting that Season 15 is deliberately laying the groundwork for an explosive Season 16.

The former marketing executive and current RHOBH star addressed Gellar’s comments in an exclusive interview with Page Six, offering a thoughtful defense of the current season’s slower pace.

“Here’s the thing,” Saint John explained. “There has to be moments where you get deep, and sometimes that depth doesn’t require a lot of action. Our lives are really real.”

She continued, “There’s a lot of drama going on. That doesn’t necessarily mean conflict between us, but it is drama within each of our individual lives, and you gotta allow for space for that.

I actually think it sets it up for a great next season too. Because then you let things play out. So things are building. We gotta let it build.”

Gellar, who has openly declared herself a huge RHOBH fan and even said “I love Boz,” stirred controversy earlier this week when she told Page Six Radio that she found Season 15 “boring” and “slow,” though she admitted it was “just picking up now.”

Her remarks did not sit well with Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen, who fired back during the same radio appearance, saying he felt disrespected that Gellar criticized the show while sitting in his studio.

“I was like, ‘You know what? Don’t bring someone into my studio to trash my show,’” Cohen snapped. “She wrong, by the way.”

Despite the tension, Saint John took a more measured and optimistic approach, suggesting the current season’s focus on personal stories and individual struggles is necessary character development that will pay off later.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15 is currently airing Thursday nights at 8/7c on Bravo and is approaching its finale, with the reunion special having filmed earlier this month.

Saint John joined the cast in Season 14 and has quickly become a fan-favorite for her refreshing honesty and strong presence.

Her defense of the show highlights the difference between casual viewers seeking constant fireworks and longtime fans who appreciate the deeper, more personal storytelling.

As Season 15 heads toward its conclusion, many are now wondering whether Bozoma’s prediction holds true — and if the slow burn will indeed ignite into major drama in Season 16.
