In the April issue of Elle UK (out now, March 5, 2026), Nicola opened up about how “so f***ing boring” it is when people fixate on her size instead of her acting. She said she has “no interest in body positivity” because it’s “someone else’s thing. It’s not mine.”

The Irish actress revealed she was a size 10 (and even wore a smaller corset) while filming those famous nude scenes in Bridgerton Season 3. Yet people still called her “plus-size” or “curvy” in a weird way. “How f***ed are we if I’m the biggest woman you want to see on screen?” she asked.

Nicola shared a tough moment: a drunk fan once cornered her in a bathroom gushing about her body. “I wanted to die. I hate this so much,” she recalled. After months of hard work away from family, she hates when praise turns into “it all comes down to how you look.”

She’s tired of the obsession – even her viral “perfect breasts” clapback from 2024 (where she proudly claimed the “perfect breasts community”) shows how she flips the script with humor. But now, she’s clear: stop reducing her to her body!
