Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker’s Restaurant Ordered to Pay $140K Settlement to Former Landlord
A court has ordered the restaurant business owned by “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss and her estranged husband Todd Tucker to pay a six-figure settlement to their former landlord, according to recently obtained court documents.
The ruling stems from a long-running dispute involving Blaze Steak & Seafood, a restaurant operated by the couple’s company, Burruss Tucker Restaurant Group.
The landlord, Montego Pacific Inc., initially filed a lawsuit claiming the business owed over $154,000 in back rent, plus additional costs for property damage and repairs—bringing the total disputed amount to more than $200,000 in some reports.
Court records show that the parties had previously entered into a settlement agreement, under which the restaurant group agreed to pay $140,509.10 to cover unpaid rent and remediation (repair) costs.
However, disputes arose, leading to further litigation. The company denied wrongdoing and filed counterclaims against the landlord related to the lease.
A judge recently ruled that the settlement agreement was valid and binding. As a result, Burruss and Tucker’s business has been ordered to pay the $140,000+ amount as agreed.
All other claims and counterclaims were dismissed, effectively resolving the case in favor of enforcing the original settlement terms.
This development comes amid the couple’s ongoing divorce proceedings and follows the closure of Blaze Steak & Seafood (along with other ventures like locations of Old Lady Gang), which had faced challenges including lease terminations tied to unpaid obligations.
The case highlights ongoing financial pressures on the former couple’s business ventures, which began with the landlord’s suit in early 2025. No further appeals or additional payments have been reported at this time.
