Second Actor Accuses Tyler Perry in New Lawsuit; $77M Claim Filed by Mario Rodriguez in California Court

Mario Rodriguez— The actor of “Frat Guy #10” in Tyler Perry’s 2016 film Boo! A Madea Halloween—sued Perry in California court.

Rodriguez alleged repeated unwanted sexual activities and assaults over long time period (starting around 2015), including groping and other incidents at Perry’s Los Angeles home.

He’s sued Tyler for $77 million in damages and also named Lionsgate, the distributor of the movie in the suit, accusing them of ignoring the alleged misconduct.

This is the second such lawsuit in recent months. Earlier, actor Derek Dixon (from Perry’s show The Oval) filed similar allegations . Derek alleged Perry for sending numerous sexually aggressive texts and explicit comments over years.

Perry’s attorney, Alex Spiro, has strongly denied the claims of Mario Rodriguez calling it a “failed money grab” motivated by financial gain, similar to statements made about the prior lawsuit.

The story broke widely on December 26 across major outlets like The Washington Post, Hollywood Reporter, Variety, TMZ, CBS News, and Deadline.

Perry’s Reaction Awaited

Perry himself hasn’t posted publicly on X about the lawsuit (his official account @tylerperry has been quiet recently). The allegations remain unproven in court.
