Kristen & Nia Throw Brittany, Jasmine, and Zack Under the Bus in Mexico — Old Alliances Are Shifting
In Season 3 Episode 13 on The Valley, during the Mexico trip, the group dynamics took a surprising turn when Kristen and Nia openly threw shade at Brittany, Jasmine, and Zack, exposing how fractured the alliances have become.
While on the bus and at lunch, Kristen declared Brittany, Jasmine, and Zack as the “hot f*cking messes” of the group.
Nia quickly agreed, adding Zack to the list. The comments were so pointed that Janet felt compelled to text Brittany a warning: “Nia and Kristen are willing to paint Britt, Jasmine, and Zack in a bad light to protect Danny.”
This moment marks a clear shift in Season 3 alliances. Kristen, who has spent much of the season focused on her own postpartum struggles with Luke (Episodes 4, 5, and 7), appears to be aligning herself more firmly with the Nia/Danny side.
Nia, still carrying heavy resentment from the failed reconciliation with Janet in Episode 2 and the meal train drama in Episode 11, is leaning on Kristen for support.
The comments also tie back to old grudges. Kristen referenced the infamous Santa Barbara trip (heavily discussed in Episode 11), where Brittany was emotional about Jax.
Meanwhile, Zack has been caught in the middle all season — defending Danny while also calling out his lies about drinking (Episode 13 and earlier episodes).
Season Arc:
This Mexico bus conversation feels like a major realignment. The once-loose friend groups are hardening into clear factions: those willing to protect Danny and Nia versus those (like Janet, Brittany, Jasmine, and Zack) who are calling for more accountability.
Janet’s emotional breakdown after the lunch fight and her desperate text to Brittany show just how isolated she feels.
As the Mexico trip continues, these shifting alliances could redefine the rest of Season 3. The days of surface-level peace appear to be over.
