Survivor Animated Comedy Movie in the Works at Paramount Animation

Paramount Animation, in partnership with CBS, is developing an animated comedy movie based on the iconic reality series Survivor. Jeff Probst is executive producing the project.

“Set on a remote and mystical island, animals from all around the globe compete for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be crowned the sole Survivor.”

Probst shared the exciting news on Instagram: “I’m so excited to be teaming up with Paramount Animation to bring you Survivor like you’ve never seen it before…in the animal kingdom!

This will be an all-out comedy with animals competing for the chance to be crowned the sole Survivor. Let’s go!!!!” He added that the animal setting creates “a whole new playground” full of big personalities, alliances, competition, chaos, and heart.

The project is in early development with no director, voice cast, or release date announced yet. Paramount Animation president Jennifer Dodge is overseeing it.

This marks a fresh expansion for the Survivor franchise following the strong ratings of Season 50. Fans on social media are already buzzing with fun ideas — from casting legends like Parvati as a black widow spider to hoping Cirie finally gets her win in animal form. Many are drawing playful comparisons to Total Drama Island.

Stay tuned for more updates on this wild new take on Survivor!
