Lainey Wilson Teases ‘Elevated’ Stagecoach Headlining Set with Surprises Ahead of Festival Debut
Country music powerhouse Lainey Wilson is gearing up for her first-ever headlining performance at Stagecoach 2026, promising fans an “elevated show” packed with surprises when she takes the T-Mobile Mane Stage on Saturday, April 25, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the Los Angeles premiere of her feature film debut Reminders of Him on March 9, 2026, the 33-year-old star shared fresh details about her set preparations.
“We are in the weeds right now with planning our Stagecoach set, and we’ve got some really cool things,” Wilson revealed. “I actually was talking to my band leader earlier today. It is going to be really great, and we got some surprises.”
She added, “I don’t need to say too much… but it’s really cool. I think it’s definitely going to be an elevated show. I feel like we’re getting to play some stuff that we haven’t played in a minute, and it’s going to be a fun show.”
Wilson’s rise to headliner status comes after years of building momentum: she first appeared at Stagecoach in lower slots, but her 2024 album Whirlwind earned a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album and fueled her debut world tour, which kicked off in Switzerland in March 2025 and wrapped in Florida in November.
Now, as one of three headliners alongside Cody Johnson (Friday) and Post Malone (Sunday), she’s ready to deliver a career-highlight moment.
The multi-talented artist is also expanding her reach into acting. Fresh off her recurring role as country singer Abby in season 5 of Yellowstone, Wilson makes her big-screen debut as Amy in Reminders of Him, the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s 2022 bestselling novel.
The film, starring Maika Monroe, Tyriq Withers, Rudy Pankow, Lauren Graham, Bradley Whitford, and Jennifer Robertson, hit theaters on March 13, 2026. Wilson attended the premiere in a striking all-black lace jumpsuit, turning heads on the red carpet.
With her signature bell-bottom flair, powerhouse vocals, and growing Hollywood presence, Wilson’s Stagecoach set is shaping up to be a must-see highlight of the April 24-26 weekend festival. Tickets and more details are available at stagecoachfestival.com.
