Multiple outlets, including TMZ and People, confirm the 44-year-old superstar’s Instagram profile vanished shortly after her release from custody early Thursday morning (March 5, 2026). Visitors to the page now see the standard message: “Sorry, this page isn’t available.

The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.” It’s unclear whether Spears personally deactivated the account or if it was taken down for other reasons, but her X (formerly Twitter) remains active.

The move comes hot on the heels of her arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence around 9:30 p.m. local time in the Westlake Village/Moorpark area near her home. Sources report she was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol, evaluated at a hospital, booked into jail around 3 a.m., and released by 6 a.m. under cite-and-release. Spears is slated to appear in Ventura County Superior Court on May 4, 2026.
