The drama began at Carl’s Renaissance fair-themed party. Ben confided in West that he was interested in Dara, who had just arrived single and ready to mingle.

Dara, however, had already dated West for six months in the past, ending things because he “couldn’t full send it” when it came to commitment. “West is the best guy on earth unless you’re falling in love with him,” she declared in a mic-drop confessional. “Very happily the flame has died.”

Before Ben could make a move, KJ swooped in. Dara wandered over to him, and despite KJ initially forgetting they’d met at a singles event, the chemistry was immediate.

KJ gave her a tour of the grounds, and the two clicked effortlessly. Ben watched from afar as Dara later asked him, “How’s the party been so far? Better now?” — a flirty line that had the group joking it felt like The Bachelor.

The tension peaked when Ben pulled Dara aside for a private chat. KJ, sensing the competition, knew he had to step up — and he did. Back in the city, KJ met Dara for casual lunchtime drinks, followed by her coming over for dinner the next night.

When he admitted he felt a pang watching her talk to Ben, Dara shut it down gently: “I just want to clarify… I think I’m not trying to make you feel like it’s some kind of weird competition.” KJ asked directly, “So you don’t like Ben?” Dara smiled and replied, “No.”
