Why Colton? He’s been the loudest voice pushing big moves. In Episode 4, he called Tiffany Mitchell a “puppet master” and helped sway the room with Eric Nam’s laugh clue.

In Episode 5, he dominated kitchen talks, pointing out early Michael voters were mostly gone (except Yam Yam). He even asked Michael straight-up about Alan’s turret outfits, trying to catch him slipping.

Those bold plays made him look like a leader to some Faithfuls. But to the Traitors (Candiace, Lisa, Rob), he’s a huge threat. Strong players like him can rally votes against them. With Michael’s “low blow” exit creating chaos and distractions, Colton stands out even more.

The shield temptation adds extra tension. If someone grabbed a shield selfishly (like we suspect from Monét’s murder), murder goes ahead. The Traitors debated Colton as the pick because he’s too influential to leave alive. Rob reported Lisa’s rising heat back from group chats, but Colton’s name won out.

If they kill him, the Faithfuls lose their main “ringleader.” Kristen Kish already sees him as herding sheep. Maura blames him for Tiffany’s banishment. His exit could spark blame games and finger-pointing at suspects like Lisa or Ron.

But if a shield saved him (or no murder happened), the game shifts. Colton might double down, pushing harder on Lisa or others. The breakfast reveal in Episode 6 (dropping January 22 on Peacock) will tell us everything.
